Billy Deshawn "BJ" Watson Jr., age 25, of 1091 Parkland Place Road, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at Self Regional Medical Center.

Born in Greenwood County on December 9, 1997, he was the son of Wanda Foster (Freddie) and Billy Watson Sr. of Greenwood, South Carolina.

He was a member of Springfield Baptist Church and was employed at Yellow Dolly Moving Company.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary Watson and one aunt, Vickie Foster.

Leaving to cherish his most fond and precious memories are his parents of Greenwood, South Carolina; three sisters, Ashley Foster (Jerrelle), Shann Watson and Tiffany Watson all of Greenwood, South Carolina; his maternal grandparents, Edward and Mary Helen Foster of Greenwood, South Carolina; seven nieces, three nephews, a special brother, Raymond Smith of Greenwood, South Carolina along with a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Public viewing will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, from 1-6 P.M. at Parks Funeral Home.

A celebration of Life for Billy Deshawn "BJ" Watson, Jr. will be held at 1 P.M. on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at Springfield Baptist Church with the Reverend Robert Knox, Pastor and Officiating. Assisting will be Reverend La Juanta Hair, Reverend Sheryl Kemp Bailey, Reverend Van Abram and Reverend Kimberly Martin.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Drake Holloway, Jerrelle Anthony, Rashad Martin, Kurtis Young, Kai Fyock, JaVante Minyard, Darius Hammond, and Aaron Young.  Flower Bearers will be Ny'Keria Foster, Di'ashia Anthony, Julissa Foster, Janaiha Foster, Shaniya Moragne and Jemeria Williams.  Honorary Escorts will be Raymond Smith and Jerrelle Anthony, Jr.

The family is at the home of 111 Myrtle Street in the Magnolia Place Subdivision.
