Mr. Willie Henry Ligon, 65, of 812 Anderson Street, entered into eternal rest on Monday, February 16, 2026.

Born in Greenwood County, South Carolina on July 15, 1960, he was the beloved son of the late Henry Ligon and Mary A. Minyard Ligon.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Ligon.

Affectionately known as "Rabbit," Willie was a familiar and cherished presence to all who knew him. His warm spirit, easy smile, and kind heart made others feel welcome wherever he went. He attended Greenwood High School and was formerly employed at Greenwood Mills, where he worked diligently and took pride in providing for his family.

More than anything, Willie loved his family. He found joy in simple moments — talking, laughing, sharing stories, and being surrounded by the people he loved. He was a devoted father, brother, uncle, and friend whose presence brought comfort and laughter. The memories he created and the love he gave will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

He leaves to cherish his loving and precious memories are his two children, Keith and Kim Partlow; four sisters, Mary Ann Adams, Kathy Pinkney, Linda (Obbie) Tolbert and Alfreda Harrison; two brothers, Damian (Michelle) Ligon and Robert Ligon; a special niece reared in the home, Keisha Ligon; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends who will miss him deeply but will carry his love with them always.

Though he has departed from this earthly life, his spirit remains in every memory shared, every lesson remembered, and every heart he touched.

A celebration of his life for Mr. Willie Henry Ligon will be held at 2 P.M. on Friday, February 20, 2026 in the chapel of Parks Funeral Home with Archbishop Emanuel Spearman, Presiding and Officiating. Assisting will be Pastor Deloris Henderson, Elder Charles Williams and Bishop Nicholas Spearman.

The family is at the home 812 Anderson Street, Greenwood, South Carolina.
