Willie James "Fox" Jackson, 78, husband of Sharon "Shel" Smith Jackson, formerly of Greenwood passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at Edgefield Post Acute in Edgefield, South Carolina.

He was predeceased by his father, Hutt Laster and his mother, Marie Duncan; his siblings, Lewis Wright, Pamela Cason, Ernest Wright, Meldon Wright, Linda Hardy and Ruby Power. Also, his father-in-law, Roy Parks, Jr.

He is survived by his wife of Greenwood, South Carolina; three sons, Michael Settles, Tony (Janice) and Jamie Jackson; one daughter, Janice (Richard Lee) Jackson all of Rochester, New York; two stepsons, Tyrel (Kayla) Smith and Daundre' Quarles; one stepdaughter, L. Shaniece Quarles; three Godsons, Jamarian (Squirt) and Jeremiah (Skeeter) Holmes; and Jonah (Chubb) Reidout. one Goddaughter, Janilah Holmes; two sisters, Roxie Gilchrist and Estelle Jones; three brothers, Clifford Wright (Ann), Rocksell Wright and Larry Wright.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at the American Legion (The Hut) with Rev. James McKee officiating.
