Mr. William D, Kimble , 83, was born in Edgefield County, South Carolina on July 9, 1939, and was the son of the late John Wesley and Lula Mae Kimble. He transition from this life into eternal rest on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at the HospiceCare of the Piedmont in Greenwood, South Carolina.

He received his education in the public schools of Edgefield County, South Carolina. He was a member of Liberty Spring Baptist Church.

William worked in the forestry and textile industries.

William was a very humble man and loved watching western shows.

He is preceded in death by five siblings, Willie F. Kimble, J.C. Kimble, G.W. Kimble, Rosa Mae Jones and Frances Lee Anderson.

He leaves to honor and cherish his memories; one daughter, Michelle Wade of North Augusta, South Carolina; three sisters, Pearline Anderson, Lugenia Young both of Greenwood, South Carolina and Elease Parks of McCormick, South Carolina; one brother, Heyward (Pat) Kimble of Greenwood, South Carolina; two special nephews, Dennis "Tee" Parks and Hollie Anderson both of Greenwood, South Carolina along with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Public viewing will be held on Monday, April 10, 2023, from 1-6 P.M. at Parks Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held at 1 P.M. on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at Liberty Spring Baptist Church, 1347 Walker Road in McCormick, South Carolina with the Reverend David Parks, Officiating and Reverend Donnie Kennedy presiding. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Lewis Carroll, Jr., Lafayette Daniel, Ramom Harris, Michael Harris, Willie Lee Harris and Greg Harrison. Flower Bearers will be nieces.

The family is at the home of his sister, Lugenia Young, 1524 Parkway Apartment #704.
