William Henry Butler, Jr.,  70, "Buck" of 532 Davis Street, died on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at his home.

Born in Abbeville, County, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Willie Laura Lee Butler and William Henry Butler, Sr.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Isaiah "Ike" Butler, Walter Lee Butler, Willie Melvin Butler and James "House" Black; two sisters, Henrietta Robinson and Ruell Taylor and one sister-in-law, Lenora McBride.

"Buck"  as he was called by his family and friends, was a jack of all trades and had many talents.  He was a brick mason, painter, carpenter, construction worker and remolded houses. He had a great love for gospel music  and was a guitarist and member of the Seniors of Harmony and The Fantastic Five of Greenwood, South Carolina.

Leaving to cherish his most precious memories are; his lovely and devoted wife, Dorothy Jean Butler of the home; three children, two sons, William Henry Butler, III, and William Isaiah Norman both of Greenwood, South Carolina and one daughter, Tangie Robinson of Greenwood, South Carolina; four grandchildren, one reared in the home, Roman Izells Butler of Greenwood, South Carolina; eight great grandchildren, one brother, Clarence (Linda) Butler of Greenville, South Carolina; four sisters-in-law, Vanessa McBride and Linda Parks of Greenwood, South Carolina; Debra Lagroone of Anderson, South Carolina and Esther Butler of Iva, South Carolina; two brothers-in-law, Bishop Eddie Lagroone of Anderson, South Carolina and Terry Gary of Greenwood, South Carolina and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 5, 2019 at the Chapel of Parks Funeral Home with Bishop Eddie Lagroone officiating.
