Timothy E. Austin, 63, of Greenwood, South Carolina departed this life on October 11, 2024, at Self Regional Medical Center.

Born in Greenwood County, South Carolina on March 19, 1963, he was the son of the late Mrs. Willie Mae Austin and the late Mr. Robert L. Austin. He was a member of Southside Church of Christ. He was also a member of the United States Army.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, James W. Austin, Willie S. Austin, and Samuel D. Austin.

Leaving to cherish his most precious memories are one son, Timothy E. Austin of Greenwood, South Carolina; four sisters, Alice Smith, Gladys (John) Gilchrist and Emma (Robert) Blair all of McCormick, South Carolina, Annie Kate Austin of the Promised Land Community, Bradley, South Carolina, and Betty Foggie of Laurens, South Carolina; five brothers, Robert L. (Sharon) Auston of Newport News, Virginia, Jerry Austin of Phoenix, Arizona, Wright (Jeanette) Austin and Charles Austin of the Promised Land Community in Bradley, South Carolina; A fiancée Olivia Kyza,of Kampala, Democratic Republic of Congo; One Uncle, Samuel (Myra) Jones of Columbia, SC; three aunts, Martha Moore of Boston, Massachusetts, Hattie Henderson and Rosa Lee Austin of Greenwood, South Carolina. He will also be remembered by a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11am on Monday, October 21, 2024, at Southside Church of Christ with Brother Claude Byrd officiating, assisted by Brother Howard Tate.

The family is at the home of a sister, Annie Kate Austin, 308 Piedmont Avenue in the Promised Land Community, Bradley, South Carolina.
