Sara E. Wilson, 86, passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at her home in Portsmouth, Virginia.

Born in Greenwood County, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Ada (Henry) Carter and the late Hollie Williams, Sr.

Leaving to cherish her most precious memories are her children, Joan Wilson and Vernessa Walker of Atlanta, Georgia; Kathi Walker, Bridgette Sledge, and Willie Wilson, Jr., all of Portsmouth, Virginia and Connie Washington of Greenwood, South Carolina; one sister, Doris Williams of Greenwood, South Carolina; two brothers, Willie (Annell) Carter of Greenwood, South Carolina and Jesse (Elaine) Williams of Abbeville, South Carolina. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

A memorial service will held at 2 P.M.  on Friday, November 3, 2023 in Atlanta, Georgia.
