Mr. Samuel David Austin, 54, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2019 at his home.

Born in Greenwood County, South Carolina on February 11, 1964, he was the son of Mrs. Willie M. Austin and the late Robert L Austin.

Leaving to cherish his most precious memories are; a very special friend, Theresa Gray of Ninety-Six, South Carolina; three sons, Nicky Austin and Christopher Austin both of Phoenix, Arizona and  Danny Austin of Boston, Massachusetts; his mother, Willie M. Austin of the Promised Land Community, Greenwood, South Carolina; four sisters, Gladys  Gilchrist (John)  and  Emma Blair (Robert) both of McCormick, South Carolina; Annie Austin of Greenwood, South Carolina and Betty Foggie of Laurens, South Carolina; five brothers, Robert L. Austin (Sharon) of New Port News, Virginia; Jerry Austin of Phoenix, Arizona; Wright Austin (Jeanette), Tim Austin and Charles Austin all of the Promised Land Community, Greenwood, South Carolina. He will also be remembered by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, February 4, 2019 at Southside Church of Christ with Brother Hosie Byrd officiating assisted by Brother Claude Byrd.

The family is at the home, 2616 New Zion Road in Greenwood, South Carolina
