Mr. Robert Earl Dorn, 60, of 408 Parkland Place Road entered into eternal rest on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at MUSC Health University Medical Center in Charleston, South Carolina.

"Robert Earl", "Big E" and "Chief" as he was affectionally called by his family and friends was born on March 11, 1964 in Greenwood County, South Carolina. He was the son of Pearl Dorn Drennon and the late Robert Conway.

He was a 1982 graduate of Ninety-Six High School in Ninety-Six, South Carolina and attended Voorhees College in Denmark, South Carolina where he studied law enforcement. He was a member of Young's Chapel Baptist Church and was formerly employed with Greenwood Packing Plant as a supervisor for a number of years. He also was the former owner and operator of Earl's Car Wash.

He is preceded in death by his father and grandparents the late Daisy Dorn and the late Willie Conway.

Robert touched many lives with his genuine love. He will be dearly miss by his mother, Pearl Dorn Drennon of the home; one son, Nikita (Nikki) Holloway of Greenwood, South Carolina; three grandchildren, Nola Holloway, Noah Holloway and Mariah Holloway all of Greenwood, South Carolina; four sisters, Patsy (Kenneth) Morse and Sherrie Terry both of Greenwood, South Carolina; Tiffany (Wayne) Foster of Indian Trail, North Carolina and Alice Crawford of Greenville, South Carolina; five brothers, Larry (Terry) Adams and Tony (Michelle) Conway both of Ninety-Six, South Carolina; Barry (Tammy) Conway of Hodges, South Carolina; Leon (Cynthia) Conway of Pelzer, South Carolina and Russell (Rachelann) Conway of Washington State; two devoted best friends, Denise Bannerman and George Moore both of Greenwood, South Carolina; four aunts, Janie Dorn, Annell (Ray) Carter and Carolyn Phelps all of Greenwood, South Carolina and Magdalene Payne of Bradley, South Carolina along with a host of other relatives and friends who will truly miss him.

Memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 6, 2024 in the chapel of Parks Funeral Home with the Reverend James L. Holmes officiating and the Reverend Lonnie West assisting.
