Mr. Philbert Heard Brown, 59, of 106 D Winter Way, Greenwood, South Carolina entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at his home.

Born in Greenwood County, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Amos and Evelyn Heard Brown.

He was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church and a graduate of Greenwood High School and Lander University.  Philbert was formerly employed as an electrical engineer at Greenwood Mills and later at Velux.

Leaving to cherish his most precious memories are, his uncles, aunts, cousins and friends who will truly miss him.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2018 in the Chapel of Parks Funeral Home with Evangelist Henrietta Abrams officiating and Reverend Queen Hagood assisting.  Burial will be in the Evening Star Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1-2 prior to the service.  There will be no public viewing.

Pallbearers and Flower Bearers will be family and friends.

The family is at their respective home.
