Patricia Wideman Williams, lovingly known as Trish, Pat, and "Hank," was born on April 19, 1955, in Greenwood, South Carolina, to the late William and Alice Wideman. She was admired and cherished for her positive spirit and her warm, loving personality, which touched everyone who knew her.

A proud member of Greenwood High School's Class of 1973, Patricia went on to build a life filled with love, laughter, and family, including a dedicated career as a school bus driver for Greenwood School District 50. An avid sports fanatic, Patricia could be found watching her beloved Atlanta Braves or the Carolina Panthers. She loved being around her family, celebrating milestones, keeping family traditions alive, and making lasting memories.

She shared 48 beautiful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Bobby Joe Williams Sr. Together, they raised one son, Bobby Joe "BJ" Williams Jr., who resides in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, William and Alice Wideman, and her husband, Bobby Joe.

She is survived by her devoted son, BJ; her three brothers, William Wideman Jr. (Priscilla) of Albany, NY, James Wideman (Brenda) of Ninety-Six, SC, and Alvin Wideman of Charlotte, NC. She also leaves behind two sisters, Alice Logan and Linda Foster, both of Greenwood, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends, who will forever cherish her memory.

Patricia's legacy is one of love, kindness, and resilience. Her bright spirit continues to shine through the lives of all those she touched.

Public viewing will be held on Friday, October 11, 2024, from 1-6 P.M. at Parks Funeral Home.

A celebration of Life for Mrs. Patricia Wideman Williams will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Coronaca. The body will be placed in the church at 10:00 A.M.  Burial will be in Mount Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery in Greenwood, South Carolina.
