Patricia “Ms. Pat” Ann Williams Benjamin, 70, of 538-A Sumter Street, Greenwood, South Carolina departed this life on Monday, August 3, 2026, at her son’s home in Sparta, Georgia.

Born in Hodges, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Howard Williams Sr. and the late Bobbie Jean Williams.

Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Johnny Benjamin; two brothers, Howard Williams Jr. and Harold Williams; and her parents.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory are two sons, Charles R. (Angela) Benjamin of Greenwood, South Carolina, and Travis D. (Tomika) Benjamin of Sparta, Georgia. She was the proud grandmother of nine grandchildren: Capria Mason, Esha Benjamin, Alvin Jennings, Kenya Grant, Alexus Benjamin, Charles Benjamin Jr., Rihanna Benjamin, Tristan Garrett, and Dreshawn (Jared) Johnson-Groves. She was also blessed with six great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by four sisters, Betty Dansby (the late Mark Dansby), Eva Washington (the late Howard Washington), Robbie Lynn Williams (Lurman Hawthorne), and Bridgette Williams; five brothers, Daniel Williams, Darryl (Ernestine) Williams, Lovota (Ella) Williams, Jerry Wayne (Gloria) Williams, and Sammie (Takeysta) Chappell; one sister-in-law, Corrye Nell (the late Andrew) Anderson; one brother-in-law, LeRoy Benjamin; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory and mourn her passing.

Public viewing will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026 from 1-6 P.M. at the funeral home.

Funeral service will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, August 9, 2026 at Macedonia C.M.E. Church in Hodges, South Carolina with the Reverend Janet Corley, Officiating. Reverend Dr. Amos Harling will be Presiding and Reverend Rickey Corley assisting. The body will be placed in the church at 1:00 P.M. Burial will be in Evening Star Cemetery 111 Memorial Lane in Greenwood, South Carolina.

Pallbearers will be Nephews and Brothers.  Flower Bearers will be Nikita Parks, Brittney Williams, Capria Mason, Rihanna Benjamin, Monica Williams and Shameka Graham.

The family is at the home of her sister, Eva Washington, 112 Daffodil Lane, Hodges, South Carolina.
