Pamela L Scott's Obituary
Ms. Pamela "Pam" Lynn Scott, 50, was born on Saturday, 5th of August 1967 to the late Elisha and Leomia Scott in Greenwood, South Carolina. She entered into her heavenly home Saturday the 18th of November 2017.
She accepted Jesus as her Savior at a young age at Dunham Temple C.M.E Church. She was a part of the 1985 graduating class at Greenwood High School. Pamela worked in several career fields, such as dietary staff at Self Regional Healthcare, substitute teaching in Georgia, and Home Health Care. However, her passion was doing hair as a licensed Cosmetologist. Pamela was energetic, would tell it like it is, she was caring, loving, and always smiling. Everywhere she went, she brought love and warmth to the environment.
Most importantly, she was a great mother to three amazing boys, Malcolm (Terence) N. Aikens of Lawrenceville, GA, Mister C.B Aikens of Greenwood, South Carolina, and Jordan E. Aikens of Clinton, South Carolina. Pamela also cherished her great lifetime partner, her fiancé Anthony Watson of Prosperity, South Carolina. Surviving besides her three sons and fiancé, one sister Mrs. Vera (William) S. Archie of St. Petersburg, Virginia; four brothers Gerald Scott of Greenwood, South Carolina, James (Dorothy) Lawson Scott of Ware Shoals, South Carolina, Rev. Richard (Melissa) Scott and Stanley (Catherine) Johnson both of Greenwood, South Carolina; four aunts, Grace Hawkins and Louise Mosley both of Greenwood, South Carolina, Joyce (Bobby) Chapman of Ninety Six, South Carolina, and Rosa Lee Nance of Buffalo,New York; one special cousin Kimberly Quarles of Greenwood, South Carolina ; seven grandchildren and a host of loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m.on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Dunham Temple C. M. E. Church with Bishop Emanuel Spearman Officiating, assisted by the Reverend Deidre Raiford and Reverend Richard Scott. Burial will be in the Evening Star Cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at noon.
Pallbearers will be nephews, Flower Bearers will be nieces and Honorary Escorts will be the Greenwood High School Class of 1985.
The family is at the home of her aunt, Grace Hawkins, 1113 Richard St. Greenwood, South Carolina.
