Reverend Oliver Thomas Baylor, 65, of 651 MccLees Avenue entered into eternal rest on Thursday, October 16, 2025.

Born in Greenwood, South Carolina, he was the son of the late T. L. Baylor and Bessie Adams Baylor.

He attended Greenwood public school system and was formerly employed as a Security Guard.

Reverend Baylor was a member of Marshall Chapel Baptist Church in Ninety-Six, South Carolina. He was the former pastor of Mount Cannan Baptist Church in Abbeville, South Carolina.

Leaving to cherish his most fond and precious memories are two sisters, Brenda (Willie) Bryson of Greenwood, South Carolina and Debbie B. Vickers of Los Angeles, California; four nephews, two nieces, one great nephew, one great niece and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Public viewing will be held on Monday, October 20, 2025 from 1-5 P.M. at the funeral home.

A celebration of life for Reverend Oliver Thomas Baylor will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, October, 21, 2025 in the chapel of Parks Funeral Home with the Reverend Wallace Arnold officiating.
