Marilyn Monroe Martin, 70, of Ninety-Six, South Carolina entered into eternal rest on Friday, September 12, 2025 at Prisma Health Hospital in Greenville, South Carolina.

Born in Ninety-Six, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late James Monroe and the late Catherine Carroll Monroe.

She is a graduate of Ninety-Six High School and was formerly employed with Greenwood Mills.

She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Earl Monroe.

Leaving to cherish her most precious memories are two sisters, Carolyn (Earl) Warren of Greenwood, South Carolina and Barbara Williams of Ninety-Six, South Carolina; one brother, James H. Monroe of Columbia, South Carolina.  She is also survived by her aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be on Friday, September 19, 2025 at Mount Tabor Baptist Church from 12 to 1 p.m. one hour prior to the service.

Home Going service for Marilyn Monroe Martin will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, September 19, 2025 at Mount Tabor Baptist Church will the Reverend Roger L. Rivers, Officiating and Reverend Joseph Caldwell presiding. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be nephews and great nephews. Flower Bearers will be nieces and great nieces.

The family is at the home of her sister, Barbara Williams, 3502 Old Highway 246 in Ninety-Six, South Carolina.
