Mother Margaret Terry Cannon, 88, "Aunt Molly" departed her life on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood, SC.

Mother Cannon was born April 25, 1933 in Ninety Six, SC to the late John Henry and Sarah Terry.

Mother Cannon was a faithful member of Second Damascus Baptist Church from childhood, where she served as a member of the Missionary Society, President of the Senior Choir and President of the Kitchen Ministry. She also was a member of the Woman Home Aid Society Lodge # 49.

Mother Cannon was employed with the Holbrooks Family until her retirement.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Willie B. Cannon, daughters, Brenda Cannon and Terry Dean, one granddaughter, Slyvia D. Harshaw, one great granddaughter, Ariel Thomas, three sisters and two brothers.

She leaves to cherish her most precious memories; two loving and caring daughters, Linda C. Harshaw of Atlanta, GA; and Patricia Andrews of Greenwood, SC; seven grandchildren, one granddaughter-in-law, 15 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, three sisters, Sarah Gaston and Lillie Bell Andrews of Greenwood and Ida Robinson of Maryland; one brother, Benjamin Terry of Greenwood; two brothers-in-law and many nieces, nephews, other family and friends to morn her passing.

Graveside service will  be held at noon on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at Second Damascus Baptist Church.

Public viewing will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021 from 1-5 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family is at the home, 120 Terry Drive, Greenwood, SC.
