HODGES -- Mrs. Lottie Brown Jackson, 89, of 110 Brown Drive, Hodges, SC, passed away on March 23, 2017. She was born March 21, 1928 to Amos Brown Sr. and Janie Rouse Brown in Greenwood County. She attended Abbeville and Newberry public schools. Later she attended Benedict College in Columbia, SC.

Lottie was preceded in death by her husband, Sgt. Felton Jackson; daughters Regina Jackson and Yvonne L. Jackson Wideman, her parents and three brothers, James, Amos and Tolbert Brown. Lottie leaves to cherish her memories three nephews, Arthur (Fannye) Brown of Mableton, Ga., John B. Brown of Jacksonville, Fl., and Philbert Brown of Greenwood, SC; two nieces, Brenda (Claude) Byrd of Hodges and Anita Harris of Flint, MI, one sister-in-law Mattie L. Brown of Hodges, SC, caregiver, Bobby Wideman of the home and a host of great-nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 27, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Youngs Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. James Holmes officiating, assisted by Rev. Clara Barnes and Rev. Anthony Boozer. Burial will follow at Oakbrook Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Trustees of the Church. The body will be placed in the church at 1 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the church.
