Kelvin Dwayne Holloway, 62, known as "Kel" of 3614 Cokesbury Road, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Self Regional Medical Center surrounded by his family and a dear friend.

A native of Greenwood County, South Carolina, he was born on January 21, 1961 to Bettye Jean Gary Holloway and the late Garnell Holloway, Sr.

He was a graduate of Greenwood High School Class of 1979. Kelvin retired from formerly known as Covidien after 37 years. He was the founder and owner of Holloway's Hauling.

Kelvin was a devoted member of Mount Moriah Baptist Church where he served as an Usher and a member of the Mass and Male Choirs.

Kelvin is preceded in death by his father, Garnell Holloway, Sr., one brother, Kenric I. Holloway, his grandparents, and a special aunt, Mary Ruth Mathis Louden.

Leaving to cherish his most fond and precious memories are two devoted daughters, Chifonda (Christopher) Butler of Hodges, South Carolina and Toi Holloway of Charlotte, North Carolina; his mother, Bettye Jean Gary Holloway; four grandchildren, Sebias Jackson, Madysen Butler, Qari Frazier, and Arie McDuffie; three brothers, Garnell Holloway, Jr., of Greenwood, South Carolina, Marcus (Yulunda) Holloway of Columbia, South Carolina and Osric Holloway of Greenwood, South Carolina; four sisters, Karla Holloway of Greenwood, South Carolina; Greta (Rick) Love of Liberty, Township, Ohio; Shandahyl Holloway of Greenwood, South Carolina and Ria Holloway of Mauldin, South Carolina. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Public viewing will be held on Friday, September 8, 2023 from 1-6 P.M. at the funeral home.

A Celebration of his life will be held at noon on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at Mount Moriah Baptist Church with the Reverend Raymond Adams, Eulogist and Reverend Gwendolence Watson, Presiding. Assisting will be Elder Rick Love, Elder Reverend Dr. Derrick Scott and Reverend Melissa Spencer. The body will be placed in the church at 11:00 A.M. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Rodney Turner, Stanley Rollinson, Tony Davis, Larry Cooper, Mike Jackson and Brad Edwards.

Flower Bearers will be Alexis Nemorin, Baeli Holloway, Latoya Holloway, Daria Suber, Aaliayah Thomas, Aislinn Holloway, Maura Carroll and Tiffany Talbert.

Honorary Escorts will be the Greenwood High School Class of 1979.
