Ms. Josephine Parks was born on November 20, 1934 to the late Lola Beech Parks and Ernest Parks. She departed this life on Friday, July 2, 2021 at her home.

She was in domestic services for over 35 years.

Her favorite past time was reading the newspaper, word search puzzles, bingo and cooking for family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters as well as a grandson, Sherman "Man Man" Williams.

She leaves to cherish her memories are; two sons, Tony (Bessie) Parks and Ricky Parks both of Greenwood, South Carolina. She also leaves 6 grandchildren, Keyounda Bowman, Niecha Parks, Ashley Parks, Krystal Spearman, Brandon Spearman and Tonya Foggie  all of Greenwood, South Carolina; 10 great grandchildren and a host of loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to cherish her memory.

Graveside services will be held at 12  Noon on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Evening Star Cemetery.

There will be no public viewing.

The family is at the home, 127 Oakland Street.
