JoAnn "Vicky" Smith was born on February 7, 1956, in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late George W. Smith and Lalie M. Smith. On or about October 2, 1976, JoAnn's life transitioned from her earthly existence to her heavenly realm. She was 20 years old at the time of her passing.

She was an active member of Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church and sang on the Inspirational Choir.

JoAnn was a 1975 graduate of Princeton High and Scarlet Oaks of Cincinnati, Ohio. She was a freshman at Southern Ohio College of Cincinnati, Ohio at the time of her passing. She was employed by Howard Johnson and Marriott Hotels on Chester Road in Sharonville, Ohio. She really enjoyed her prized Red 1967 Camaro that she received upon graduating from High School.

To cherish her memory, JoAnn left behind her parents George and Lalie Smith (now deceased); two brothers, Reverend William K. Smith (now deceased) and Ronnie Smith of Greenwood, South Carolina; three sisters, Phyllis Harris of Chicago, Illinois, Glenda Jones and Stephanie Taylor both of Cincinnati, Ohio and a host of nieces and nephews whom she never had the opportunity to know.

Graveside service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at Evening Star Cemetery in Greenwood, South Carolina.
