Mr. Jerry Louis Griffin, 65, of 812 A Taggart Street entered into eternal rest of Saturday, September 14, 2019 at his home.

Born in Greenwood County, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Henry Lee Griffin and Leola Griffin.

He was formerly employed with Magnolia Manor in Greenwood, South Carolina as a certified Nursing Assistant until his health declined and was a member of Marshall Chapel Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Lizzette Henderson and one brother, Bonnie Griffin.

He leaves to cherish his most precious memories are; two sons, Brandon R. Griffin and Robert Morgan; two lovely daughters, Ta-Tanisha Williams (Darrin Moore) and Laverna Moore; three sisters, Mary Settles, Edna Mattison (Johnny) and Patricia Adams; two brothers, James Griffin and Henry Griffin; a nephew reared in the home, Colbris Griffin all of Greenwood, South Carolina; seven beautiful grandchildren along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral service will be held at noon on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at Marshall Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Andrew Harris officiating, assisted by the Rev. Roosevelt Brooks, Rev. Doris Brooks, Rev. Annette Edwards, Minister Williams Butler, and Rev. Darrin Jones. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The will placed in the church at 11a.m.

Pallbearers will be nephews, Flower Bearers will be nieces and Honorary Escorts will be Ezeckel Johnson, Andrew Yeldell, Charles Starks and John Oliver

The family will receive friends at Parks Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m.

The family is at the home of his sister, Pamela Adams, 904 Townes St.
