Mrs. Janice "Penny" (Waldrop) Daniel, 73 of 100 Edgewood Circle, Ninety-Six, South Carolina entered into eternal rest on Saturday August 23, 2025 at Prisma Health in Greenville, South Carolina.

Born in Ninety-Six, South Carolina on April 26, 1952, she was the widow of the late Carey Merritt Daniel Jr and the daughter of the late Levester Waldrip and Janie (Oliver) Waldrop.

She was a 1970 graduate of Edgewood High School in Ninety-Six, South Carolina. She was of Baptist faith and attended Bethlehem Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Leaving to cherish her memories are her two sons: James (Ashley) Kinard and Carey Wendell Daniel of Ninety-Six, South Carolina; five sisters: Bertha Holloway, Ida Hackett and Gloria Waldrop of Ninety-Six, South Carolina; Katie Smith and Eva (James) Hart of Greenwood, South Carolina; one godbrother, Ervin Goode of Ninety-Six, South Carolina; two brothers-in- Law, Kenny Daniel of Ninety-Six, South Carolina and Leon (Pam) Harrison of Greenwood, South Carolina; one goddaughter, Marquitta Henry of Ninety-Six, South Carolina; one uncle Chris (Rosa) Alexander of Ninety-Six, South Carolina; two special friends, Joyce Lark and Reverand Joseph Caldwell, 11 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives.

Public viewing will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2025 from 1-5 P.M. at the funeral home

A celebration of Life for Mrs. Janice "Penny" Waldrop Daniel will be held at 2 P.M. on Friday, August 29, 2025 at Bethlehem Baptist Church with Reverend Joseph Caldwell, Officiating. Assisting will be Apostle Hugh Hill, Jr. and Minister DeShawn Middleton. The body will be placed in the church at 1 P.M. Burial will be in Ninety-Six Community Cemetery in Ninety-Six, South Carolina.

Pallbearers will be nephews, Flower Bearers will be nieces, and Honorary Escorts will be the Historical Edgewood High School Class of 1970.

The family is at the home.
