Howard was a member of Macedonia C.M.E. Church in Hodges, South Carolina. He was a former employee of Ryan Janitorial Services and Self Regional Healthcare.

Howard was preceded in death by his parents, LT and Essie Mae Washington, three brothers, Abner Washington, William Washington and Boyle Washington; four sisters, Mary Allen, Bernice Jackson, Rosa Lee Cason and Maude Jackson.

He leaves to cherish his memories; his wife, Eva Williams Washington of the home; two daughters, Tiffany (Landrick) Abney of Ware Shoals, South Carolina and Theresa Watson of Greenwood, South Carolina; one son, Terrence Williams of Greenwood, South Carolina; two brothers, Calvin (Harriet) Washington and Charles Washington both of Donalds, South Carolina; three sisters, Anna Marie Jackson of Ware Shoals, South Carolina, Brenda Washington of Belton, South Carolina and Lila Jackson of Hodges, South Carolina; four sisters-in law, Robbie Lynn Williams, Patricia Benjamin and Bridgette Williams all of Greenwood, South Carolina and Bessie Dansby of Hodges, South Carolina; six brothers-in-law, Melvin Jackson of Donalds, South Carolina, Daniel Williams and Sammy (Tykeisha) Chappell of Cokesbury, South Carolina, Darryl (Tina) Williams of Anderson, South Carolina, Jerry Wayne Williams and Lavota Williams both of Greenwood, South Carolina; special friends, Lurman Hawthrone of Greenwood, South Carolina; eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren; two aunts, Alberta Hurley and Anna Lockhart both of Greenwood, South Carolina and a host of nieces, nephews, caring cousins and friends all of whom will miss him dearly.

A celebration of his life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Greenwood Memorial Gardens and Mausoleum, 3302 Highway 25 North, Hodges, South Carolina 29653.
