Howard Bentley Brooks, 64, peacefully passed away on October 3, 2024 at Self Regional Medical Center.

He was born on March 9, 1960 in Greenwood, South Carolina to Paul and Zora Brooks.

He took pride in being a resident of Greenwood, South Carolina and retired as a Master HVAC Technician.  Additionally, he honorably served in the Army National Guard.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Paul and Zora Brooks, four siblings, Paul Brooks, Jr., Melvin Brooks, Lettie Brooks and Gloria Jean Brooks.

He leaves behind his children, Tiffany Bryant, Delshun (Cassandra) Brooks, DeChelle Sheppard, Justin Brooks, Bradley (Adrianna) Brooks and Faith McCoy. He is also survived by four siblings, Willie Brooks, Charlie Brooks, Josie Lee Edwards and John Brooks all from Greenwood, South Carolina as well as eleven beloved grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 2 P.M. on Thursday, October 10, 2024 in the chapel of Parks Funeral Home.
