Floyd Wilson, 64, of Trakas Avenue Apartment 600 C entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 17, 2025 at his home.

Born March 11, 1960, he was the son of the late Annie Jean Snow Wilson and the late Eddie Butler.

He is preceded in death by one sister, Joyce Warren and one brother, Archie Carroll.

He was formerly employed with Harris Plant, a carpenter and was a well-known DJ by the name of "Floyd 2".

Leaving to cherish his most fond and precious memories are his children, Ya'Sheka Wilson, Antonio Johnson, Anthony (Shandra) Johnson, Tyrance Johnson, Terrence Johnson and Christy Covington all of Greenwood, South Carolina; three brothers, Alexis Wilson and James (Laurie) Wilson both of Greenwood, South Carolina and Gerald Wilson of Fountain Inn, South Carolina; six grandchildren; two special cousins, Victoria (Joe) Powell of Conyers, Georgia and Mark Williams of Greenwood, South Carolina; a longtime friend, Shocker Roundtree of Greenwood, South Carolina and  a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Memorial service for Mr. Floyd Wilson will be held at 1 P.M. on Saturday, January 25, 2025 in the chapel of Parks Funeral Home with Deacon Valerie Williams Officiating.  Assisting will be Reverend Johnnie Waller.
