Emma Lou Roundtree Watts, 98, widow of D. L. Watts, of 816 Greene Street, died Friday, August 28, 2020 at Self Regional Healthcare. She was born September 23, 1921, in Kirksey, South Carolina (Greenwood County) and was the daughter of the late Derrick Roundtree and the late Lottie Lou Yeldell Roundtree.

At an early age she joined Flint Hill Baptist Church. She was a faithful member until her health declined.

She was a retiree of Matthews Mill.

She had a strong passion for God, her family, cooking, and flowers.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, John David Roundtree, Cleveland Roundtree, and Tom Lagroon, three sisters, Ruby Speaks, Gladys Polk, Ola Mae Stevens, and son, Charles Williams.

Left to cherish her memories are her devoted son and daughter-in-law, Durell (Robin) Watts of East Norriton, PA, two grandsons reared in the home that were the love of her life, Duvene Watts of Charlotte, NC and Kyle Watts of the home, four granddaughters, Syreeta Watts, LaKeisha Watts, and Shakira Watts, all of Philadelphia, PA, and Stephanie Davis of Greenwood, SC, 20 great grandchildren,  11 great great grandchildren, sister, Mahulda Moore of Philadelphia, PA, brother, Joel Roundtree of Greenwood, SC, one sister-in-law whom was a sister to her Eula Mae Cannon, devoted niece Tammy Roundtree Sampson, extended family care providers Mattie Williams, Vivian Williams-Covington, Stephanie Jacobs, and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Graveside service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 6, 2020 at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery with the Reverend Raymond Adams officiating.

Public viewing will be held in the chapel of Parks Funeral Home on Friday, September 4, 2020 from 1-5 p.m. and on Saturday, September 5, 2020 from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.
