McCORMICK -- Eliza B. Hurley was granted her angel wings on March 30, 2017. She was born to the late James Blair and Pearl W. Blair and was married to the late Douglas W. Hurley.

She leaves to cherish her memories, a stepdaughter, Joyce Hurley; grandson, Eric Eliasson; two great-grandchildren, Albin and Victor Eliasson, all of Sweden; sisters, Amanda B. Tompkins, of McCormick, SC, Mollie Blair, of Washington, DC. Other survivors include: two sisters-in-law, Clara Blair, of McCormick, SC, Eva Blair of Chicago, IL; two devoted nieces, Linda Jones, of McCormick, and Sandra Tompkins, of Columbia, SC; and many nieces and nephews. Eliza was predeceased by 21 siblings.

Services will be held on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church 1680 New Hope Road, McCormick, SC at 1 p.m., with Rev. Michael A. Butler officiating; Rev. Victor Blair presiding; assisted by Rev. Dr. C.A. Delaughter and Rev. Dr. J. C. Williams. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive visitors at the home of JR and Linda Jones, 743 SC Hwy. 10, McCormick, SC.
