Ninety-Six, SC – Earline Amanda Graham Ball, 90, wife of the late Clarence Allen Ball, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 in her home. Born March 15th, 1930, in Ninety-Six, SC to the late Earl Solomon and Elizabeth Butler Graham. Earline was a loving daughter, wife, sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Earline was a role model and inspiration to all who were blessed to know her. She will be missed.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded by her two siblings, Ella Elizabeth Graham Daniel and Giles Solomon Graham.

After high school, Earline continued her education at Voorhees College graduating at the top of her class. She relocated to Philadelphia, PA where she gained employment at Will's Eye Hospital. There she met and married Clarence Allen Ball of Lively, VA.  Earline enrolled in the prestigious Carter's Beauty School where she earned a certification in cosmology and became very successful in that field. Upon retirement, the couple settled in her hometown of Ninety-Six, SC. There she was involved in a number of community and church activities and served on the Board of Directors of the Carolina Health Centers Family Practice Clinics for fourteen years.

Surviving are her two sons, Bruce Allen Ball, Philadelphia, PA and Earl Vincent Ball, Ninety-Six, SC; seven grandchildren Erika Chanda Denae Killebrew, Indianapolis, IN, Vincent Dominic Ball, Vancouver, WA, Deara V. Ball, Asheville, NC, Eric Sinclair Ball, Decatur, IL, Rahsaan Najama Ball, Decatur, IL,  Kirsten McKenzie Ball, Greenwood, SC. Natasha Owens Colvard, Philadelphia, PA; three great-grandchildren, Amari Tuyen Ball, Orangeburg, SC, Mylon Christopher Kelly, Indianapolis, IN and Natalia Colvard, Philadelphia, PA; as well as twelve nieces and nephews.

Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, a private graveside service will be held Friday, April 24 at 1:00 pm at Greenwood Memorial Gardens on Hwy 25 in North Greenwood. The family will not receive visitors at the home following the services, however, remembrances may be posted on the Parks Funeral Home website and Facebook page. In lieu of face-to-face contact, family and friends are encouraged to contact the family by phone and video conferencing to maintain the social distancing recommendations.

Final care is provided by Parks Funeral Home at 514 Hackett Ave., Greenwood, SC. Viewing is scheduled there on Thursday, April 23 between 1:00 – 4:00 pm.
