Mr. Douglas Seabrook "Skeet" Cannon, 62, of 128 Russell Street went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 17, 2017.

Born in Greenwood County, South Carolina, he was the son of Eula Mae Watts Cannon and the late L. C. Cannon.  Douglas became a member of Mount Moriah Baptist Church at a very early age. He enjoyed singing on various choirs throughout the years.

He leaves to cherish his memories, wife, Gloria Leverette Cannon of the home; his mother, Eula Mae Cannon of Greenwood, South Carolina; three sons, Andre, Shaun and Carlos Cannon of Greenville, South Carolina; two brothers, L. Curtis (Kitty) Cannon and Anthony (Mildred) Cannon, both of Greenwood, South Carolina; ten grandchildren, one raised in the home, Khadijah Cannon;  and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at noon on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Mount Moriah Baptist Church with the Reverend Raymond Adams officiating, Reverend Michael Butler, Presiding; assisted by the Revs. Eric Morton, Michael Cannon, Clyde Cannon, Dexter Cannon and Apostle Roscoe Cannon. The body will be placed in the church at 11:00am.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be cousins, Flower Bearers will be cousins and Honorary Escorts will be Greenwood High School Class of 1973.
