at Doctor's Hospital in Augusta, GA after an extended illness with Leukemia.

Darrick was 1984 graduate of Greenwood High School.  He served in the United States Navy from 1984 to 1993.  He was the son of Ms. Carrie Boyd and the late Carl Beeks.  He was Regional Manager of Michelin Operations of Greenville, SC.  He was an avid golfer and a die heart fan of Tiger Woods.  Darrick was also a fan of the Clemson Tigers Football Team and has been a childhood fan of the Dallas Cowboys.

Surviving in addition to his mother of Greenwood are, his wife, Theodora Boyd of Augusta, GA;  one son, Tech Sargent Select Catelon Boyd of Santa Maria, California United States Airforce; one daughter, Alexus Boyd of Augusta, GA; two sisters, Rosa Ann Boyd of Greenwood, SC and Karen Boyd (Anthony) Benjamin of Columbia, SC; two nephews, Brandon Boyd of Charlotte, NC and Antonio Coleman of Greenwood, SC; one great nephew, Kayden Rappley  and one niece, Oceanna Boyd of Greenwood, SC; a devoted father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jerry and Peggy Faust, one sister-in-law, Tina (Richard) Lyons, one brother-in-law, Tracy Faust and a devoted companion, Tarcia James all of August, GA and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 1, 2018 at Morris Chapel Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at 10 a.m. until the hour of service where the only public viewing will be. Burial will be in the Oakbrook Memorial Parks.
