Mr. Curtis Randall Smith, 40, of 315 Carolina Street, Promised Land transitioned from this life on November 17, 2017 at MUSC Hospital in Charleston, South Carolina.

Curtis was born in Greenwood County, South Carolina to Alice Smith and the late Robert Lee Smith. He was a member of Southside Church of Christ in Greenwood, South Carolina. Curtis was a loving and kind person who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He leaves to honor and cherish his memories, wife Virginia Smith, one son Elijah McDuffie of Greenwood, South Carolina and one daughter Christian Norman of Charleston, South Carolina; mother Alice Smith, brother Christopher Smith, grandmother Willie Austin, grandfather Roy Smith and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, in laws, friends and family.

Funeral Service will be held at noon on Friday, November 24, 2017 at Southside Church of Christ with Pastor Hosie Byrd officiating and Deacon Claude Byrd assisting.  The body will be placed in the church at 11:00 am. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens .

Pallbearers will be Jamie Austin, Michael Sherman, Roger Williams, James Sherman, Torey Richard and Stephen Rouse.  Flower Bearers will be nieces.
