Clarence Danbsy, 78, widower of Henrietta Dansby of 5 Lillie Loop entered into eternal rest on Sunday, December 8, 2019 his home.

Born April 6, 1941 in Edgefield County, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Johnny Dansby, Sr., and the late Lillie White Dansby.

Clarence was formerly employed with Greenwood Mills in the shipping department.

Leaving to cherish his memories are five brothers, Robert Dansby, Johnny Dansby, Jr., Clisby (Lillian) Dansby, James Arthur (Lila Bell) Dansby and Charlie (Valerie) Dansby all of Edgefield, South Carolina; six sisters, Maggie Lean Quarles of McCormick, South Carolina; Callie (William) Peterson, Addie Mae Price, Rose Lee Carroll, Patricia (Bennie) Childs and Martha Quarles all of Edgefield, South Carolina; He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

A celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Springfield Baptist Church, 2411 Highway 25 North in Edgefield, South Carolina with the Reverend Criag Myers, Pastor and Reverend Johnny Peterson, Officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 1:00 pm.

Pallbearers will be nephews and Flower Bearers will be nieces.

The family is at the home of his sister, Rose Carroll, 18 Lillie Loop in McCormick, South Carolina.
