Chansay Shontel Ross Bolden, 43, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, October 23, 2022 at Self Regional Medical Center.

"Shawn" as she was affectionally called by her family and friends was born in Greenwood South Carolina on January 15,  1979 and was the daughter of Reverend Guy Ross, Jr., and the late Ruby Norman Ross.

Chansay attended Greenwood School District 50.  She worked faithfully for Southern Soul Restaurant doing what she loved.  She also worked in the healthcare field taking care of others and as we all know, she loved taking care of kids and had a heart of Gold.

She is preceded in death by her Mother, one brother, Lorenzo Ross, her grandparents, Lillie Childs and Johnnie Coleman Sr., Guy Ross Sr. and Julia Ross.

Leaving to cherish her most fond and precious memories are; her husband,  Daryl Randy  Bolden; her father,  Reverend Guy Ross Jr. (Ida Mae) of Ware Shoals, South Carolina; three sons, Azende Ross, Isaiah Wardlaw and Demetris Bolden all of Greenwood, South Carolina; two daughters,  Sean-Jiyah Wardlaw and Keycia Bolden both of Greenwood, South Carolina; Siblings, Gerald (Victoria) Watts, Mich (Shirley) Ross, Linda Ross, Goliath (Betty) Ross and Ruby Williams; two loving God children, Omari Middleton and Faith Middleton.

She is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to cherish her memories.

Public viewing will be held on Friday, October 28, 2022 from 1-6 p.m. at the funeral home.

A celebration of her life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at Mount Tabor Baptist Church with Minister Lilla Cunningham officiating. Assisted by Minister Thomas Connor, Minister Tange' Lomax, Rev. Parks, Pastor Carlton Klugh and Pastor Bill Norman. Burial will be in Pine Grove African Methodist Episcopal Church Cemetery, Highway 67 in the Callison Community of Greenwood, South Carolina.

Pallbearers will be Brad Anderson, Webster Ross, Timothy Williams, Johnnie Coleman, Jr., Andre Aiken and Baron Dean.

Flower Bearers will be Janet Lomax, Letisha Hurley, Krystal Cade, Darlene Freeman, Ashley White, Valerie Hill, Megan Willis and Quadejah Lomax.

The family is at the home, 213 Briggs Avenue in Greenwood, South Carolina.
