Born in Greenwood, South Carolina on May 23, 1970, she was the daughter of the late Maudestean Jackson and the late Edward Marshall.

Carrie was formerly employed by McDonalds and Burger King.

She is preceded in death by two brothers, Edward Jackson and Morris Quenton Marshall.

Leaving to cherish her most precious memories are four daughters, Ciara Freeman and Kiara Freeman of Norfolk, Virginia; Lanecia Williams of Atlanta, Georgia and Seymone Rice of the home; nine grandchildren, Sy'Niah Norman and Lamont Rice of the home; Bryan Williams, Brielle Williams, Lamont Williams, Ty'aire Bishop, Sa'Niyah Freeman, Amir Freeman and Londyn Winston of Norfolk, Virginia; five sisters, Laura (Reggie) Griffin, Betty Wideman, Mauressa (Andre) Jackson, all of Greenwood, South Carolina; Rosa (Brady) Ramsey and Angela (Sylvester) Ramsey both of Hodges, South Carolina; five brothers, Kenneth Edward (Linda) Marshall, Johnny Jackson and Michael (Katrina) Jackson all of Greenwood, South Carolina; Harry Jackson of Saluda, South Carolina and James (Shalanda) Jackson of Greenville, South Carolina; one sister-in-law, Barnelle Marshall of Hodges, South Carolina. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

Celebration of Life for Carrie Jackson will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 13, 2020 at Evening Star Cemetery with the Reverend Gregory Singleton officiating.

Pallbearers will be Kendrakus Ramsey, Laventris Ramsey, Daryl Ramsey, Ameer Jackson, Kentrail Martin, Malcolm Fisher.

Flower Bearers will be Alexis Ramsey, Shauntis Ramsey, Shaquita Ramsey, Freda Dunlap, LaRisa Elumm and Shanece Ramsey.

Public viewing will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2020 from 1pm til 6 pm in the chapel of Parks Funeral Home.
