Carey Merritt Daniel, Jr., 63, of 100 Edgewood Circle, husband Janice Waldrop Daniel entered into eternal rest of Friday, September 14,  2018 at the HospiceCare of the Piedmont.

Born in Ninety-Six, South Carolina on May 31, 1955, he was the son of the late Carey Merritt Daniel, Sr. and Mildred V. Daniel.

He was a 1973 graduate of Ninety-Six High School in Ninety-Six, South Carolina and attended Denmark Technical College.  He was member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death are two brothers, Donald and Kelvin Daniel.

Leaving to cherish his memories, are his wife, Janice Waldrop Daniel of the home; one son, Carey Wendell Daniel; one stepson, James Kinard, Jr., a special nephew, Don Holloway, one brother, Kenny Daniel; two half brothers, George Abney and Leon Harrison, nine grandchildren and one great grandson.

A celebration of his life will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at Bethlehem Baptist Church with the Reverend Joseph Caldwell officiating and Reverend Robert L. Heflin, Jr., assisting. The body will placed in the church at 10 a.m. Burial will be in the Ninety-Six Community Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be nephews, flower bearers will be nieces.

Honorary Escorts will the Ninety-Six High School Class of 1973.
