Bruce Goodwin affectionately known as "Butch"  peaceably entered into eternal rest during the late evening of May 27, 2020 after a short illness. Bruce was born October 19, 1951 to the late John and Essie (Warren) Goodwin in Havre de Grace, Maryland.

He is also preceded in death by one sister, Maggie (Dank)  Goodwin; one brother,  Mark Gilbert;  and one daughter, Cassandra (Sandy) Goodwin.

Bruce leaves to mourn one daughter, Suzan (Tony) Black of Perry, Georgia; sisters Mattie Brown of Hodges, SC; Mary Goodwin-Brown of Aberdeen, Maryland;  Annie (Ruth) Goodwin of Greenwood, SC; Barbara (William) Stewart of Edgewood, Md;  brothers John (Robbie) Goodwin, and Charles (Joy) Gilbert of Greenwood, SC; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends Gardenia Lawrence, and Eric Flemmings as well as many  long- time friends and associates.

Bruce attended and graduated from Havre de Grace Consolidated High School in Maryland. He spent time working for Self Regional Hospital, in Greenwood, SC and Lockheed Martin, of  Greenville, SC as well as various other jobs during his travels.

Bruce recommitted his life to the Lord, and attended God's Will Be Done Ministry of Edgewood, Maryland. He enjoyed fishing, bingo,  card games, music and entertaining friends. He was loved and will be deeply missed by all.
