Bobby Joe Williams, Sr. was born on November 17, 1950 in Ninety-Six, South Carolina to the late Divigor and Sallie Lee Williams.

He was a graduate of Edgewood High School in Ninety-Six, South Carolina, Class of 1968.

Bobby was married for 48 years to Patricia Wideman Williams. To this union, they had one son, BJ. Bobby was a hard worker who dedicated many years to Greenwood Mills. He was a great provider for his family and friends. Many knew Bobby for his love of the outdoors. During any given day, he could be found in the woods hunting, on the water fishing, or in his garden growing some of the best collards, cabbages, and many other vegetables.

He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Darryl Williams and O'Dell Williams.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife of 48 years, Patricia Williams; his son, BJ Williams, Jr. of Charlotte, North Carolina; two brothers: Glenn (Regina) Williams and Divigor Williams, Jr. of Greenwood, South Carolina; a sister-in-law, Juliette Williams of Ninety-Six, South Carolina, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Memorial Service will be held at 11 A.M. on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 in the chapel of Parks Funeral Home.

The family is at the home of 210 Booker St.
