Mrs. Billie Diann Moss , 64, of 235 Reynolds Avenue, wife of the late James "J.E." Moss, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 3, 2017.

Born in McCormick County, she was the daughter of Johnny (Mattie) Light of Greenwood and the late Geneva Light of McCormick County.  At an early age she joined Bailey Bethel A.M.E. Church where she served as an Usher, Sunday School Teacher and Junior Usher Choir Director.  She later joined Living Word Tabernacle of Faith Church where she served as head Usher and Sunday School Teacher. She was employed by Burton Center until her health declined.  She also worked with Greenwood Mills and Greenwood Active Day Care.

Diann is survived by two sons, Richard (Thella) Moss of Spring, Texas and Billy (Wendy) Williams of Greenwood, South Carolina; three daughters, Easter Mae (James) Harrison of Greenwood, South Carolina; Frances Gilchrist of Simpsonville, South Carolina and Tiffany Moss of the home; three sisters, Sue Jane Harrison of Brooklyn, New York; Margie Williams of McCormick County; and Evine (Willie) Legrone of Callison; four brothers, John Canty of Baltimore, Maryland; Joe (Nancy) Light and James (Minnie) Light both of Greenwood, South Carolina and Shelton Light of McCormick County; twelve grandchildren, one reared in the home, Josiah Durant; three great grandchildren; four sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends to cherish her memories.

Service will be held on Monday, March 6, 2017 at Living Word Tabernacle of Faith Church with the Rev. Dr. Bernard Newson, Pastor and Officiating.  Burial will be in the Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
