Bernice Wright Sprowl, 75, of 3304 Connor Road in Hodges, South Carolina entered into eternal rest on Thursday, December 26, 2019 at AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson, South Carolina.

Born April 2, 1944 in Abbeville County, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Nannie Klugh Wright and the late Dedrick Eugene Wright, Sr.

She was a member Mount Lebanon African Methodist Episcopal Church in Due West, South Carolina and was formerly employed by Nantex, Neptune, Greenwood Mills and Somebody's House Catering.

Preceded her in death are her parents, two sisters, Gladys Valentine and Ida Lou Harrison and one brother, Eugene Wright, Jr.

Leaving to cherish her most precious memories are, her husband, Johnie Frank Sprowl of the home; one daughter, Evita L Sprowl of Hodges, South Carolina; one granddaughter, Camille J Sprowl of Hodges, South Carolina; three sisters, Frances (Neat) Smiley of Charlotte, North Carolina, Betty (Michael) Manigo of Jacksonville, Florida and Roberta (Michael) Marvels of Greer, South Carolina; two brothers, Carnell (Lucille) Wright and Howard Wright both of Due West, South Carolina.

A celebration of her life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at Old Field Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church with Pastor Annette Edwards officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 1p.m. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens and Mausoleum.

Pallbearers will be nephews and friends of the family. Flower Bearers will be nieces and friends of the family.

Public viewing will be from 3p.m until 8 p.m. on Friday, December 27, 2019.
