Bernard Dimtri Mason, 19, of 201 Hackett Avenue entered into eternal  rest on Tuesday, May 31, 2022.

Born in Greenwood County, South Carolina on July 29, 2002, he was the son of Bernard Mason and the late Gwendolyn Denise "Rat"  Morgan Wilson. He is preceded in death by one brother, Randall Mason.

"Big Eye" as he was affectionally called by his family and friends was a graduate of Greenwood High School Class of 2022 and employed with Ascend Manufacturing.

Leaving to cherish his most fond and precious memories are; his father, Bernard Mason, three brothers, Travis Deandre Morgan, Trentin Mason and Alexander Ryans; one sister, Dasnique Burton; his  grandmother, Gwendolyn Morgan of the home; his grandfather, James Daniels, Jr., two uncles, Larry (Valerie) Morgan and Sammy Morgan, two aunts, Krystal (Joseph) Morgan and Elise Morgan, six other aunt, four other uncles, one great aunt and three great uncles. Bernard is also survived by two little cousins, Kayden Logan and Ja'Kari Ryans  who looked up to him dearly and always spent quality time with him; a special lady, Shantell Brown who always looked after him to make sure he was doing good; a special friend, Baje Taylor and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.

Public viewing will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2022 from 1 to 6 P.M. at Parks Funeral Home.

A celebration of his life will be held at 3 P.M on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at Pleasant Lane Baptist Church Cemetery, 12 Peterson Lane in Edgefield, South Carolina with the Reverend Robert Dansby, Jr., officiating. Assisting will be Reverend Alfreda Bush and Reverend Fred Williams.

Pallbearers will be Amos Jackson, Eric Terry, Kalo Nance, Troy Brown, Joseph Moore and Bobby Mack.  Flower Bearers will be Lashundra Morgan, Ida Culbreath, Lowanda Brown and Lisa Alexander.

The family is at the home of his aunt, Elise Morgan, 618 Jordan Avenue in Greenwood, South Carolina.
