Apostle Dr. William Kelley Smith, 68, of 112 Kalmia Place, Easley, South Carolina transitioned from this life to his eternal life on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at the Callie and John Rainey Hospice House in Anderson, South Carolina.

Born in Cincinnati, Ohio on December 14, 1954, he was the son of the late George W. Smith and Lalie Mae Smith.

William graduated in 1973 from Princeton High School in Sharonville, Ohio.  Later in 1973, Apostle William Kelley Smith was licensed to preach the gospel at Mount Mariah Missionary Baptist Church in Lincoln Heights, Ohio.  He was a 1978 graduate of Morehouse College of Atlanta, Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theology and Religion.  He became a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity while attending Morehouse College.  He studied Apostle Theological Seminary in Jacksonville, Florida and Identity at Royal Family International School of Ministry University in Kansas, Missouri.

Apostle Smith was blessed in 2018 to receive the Honorary Doctor of Divinity through Anointed by God Ministries Alliance and Seminary.  Accredited by World Accreditation Commonwealth of Virginia Apostolic Council on Education Accountability.   Apostle Smith and Joann were ordained as Elders of Dominion Church International in 2022.

He was a member of Dominion Church International.  Apostle Smith along with his wife Prophetess Joann were the founders of Restoration Ministries established in 2001 and Desire of All Nations Ministries International established in 2006 and P-4 Gathering in 2016.

While working as a truck driver on the road, it gave him the opportunity to minister to many along his path. He had a passion for customer services and was a former dedicated car salesman employed with Hyundai of Greer, South Carolina.

Leaving to cherish his most fond and precious memoires, William leaves behind his devoted wife of 28 years, Joann Goode Smith of the home; three sons, William K. (Angela) Smith, II and Tyree Littlejohn both of Cincinnati, Ohio; and Shawn Carroll of Ware Shoals, South Carolina; five daughters, Kasha Stevenson, Nicole Smith, Kelly Smith and Keely Smith all of Cincinnati, Ohio, and  Autumn Carroll of Greenwood, South Carolina; 28 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren; one brother, Ronnie Smith of Greenwood, South Carolina; three sisters, Phyllis Harris of Chicago, Illinois, Glenda Jones and Stephanie Taylor both of Cincinnati, Ohio; one brother-in-law, Kenneth (Anne Pearl) Goode of Greenwood, South Carolina; his spiritual mother, Apostle Rose Summers of Lake Wylie, South Carolina; a special bond shared with one grandson, Dayshawn Rollinson of Greenwood, South Carolina and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends to mourn his passing.

Public viewing will be held on Friday, June 23, 2023 from 2-8 P.M. The family will receive friends Friday from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.

Service will be held at noon on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at Faith Christian Center Church conducted by Apostle Matthew Hester.  Assisting will be Apostle Rose Summers, Apostle Richard Dunbar, Apostle Johnny Mack Quarles and Prophetess Joann Quarles. The body will be placed in the church at 11a.m.
