Mrs. Annie Klugh Styles, daughter of the late James Klugh and Agnes Campbell Klugh was born July 2, 1926 in Greenwood County, South Carolina.  She departed this life on May 4, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She attended elementary school in Abbeville County, South Carolina. She graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in Columbia, South Carolina in 1947 and she received her Bachelor's Degree from Clark College in Atlanta, Georgia. After retiring as a teacher from the Atlanta Public School System and upon the retirement of her husband, she and her husband Albert made their home in Abbeville, South Carolina. She was an avid cook and enjoyed arts and crafts.

She was a faithful member of Mount Zion African Methodist Episcopal Church in Donalds, South Carolina until her health failed.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was pre-deceased by three sisters, Nettie K. Irvin, Frances W. Klugh and Lealer M. Cantlow; two brothers, James W. Klugh and Tharie Klugh.

She leaves to cherish her memories, one son, Eric A. Styles "Big E" of Abbeville, South Carolina, one brother, Elder Reverend Oscar A. Klugh, Sr., of Abbeville, South Carolina and one god son, Dr. Timothy Askew of Atlanta, Georgia; four grandchildren, Shemika Porter, Erika Barnhill, Eric Styles and Derrick Styles; thirteen great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Public viewing will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 from 1-6 P.M. at Parks Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 A.M. on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at Mount Zion African Methodist Episcopal Church in Donalds, South Carolina with the Reverend Melton Aiken officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 10 A.M. Burial will be in Evening Star Cemetery.

The family is at their respective homes.
