Allen Ben  "Bear" Jackson, 66, of 629 B Evans St. and formally of 432 Byrd Street in Greenwood, South Carolina entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Self Regional Medical Center in Greenwood, South Carolina.

Born in Rochelle, New York, he was the son of the late John Henry Jackson of Pelham, New York and the late Mary Lee Evans Jackson Culp of Detroit, Michigan.

He leaves to cherish his memories; six sisters, Martha (Robert) Williams and Marilyn (Glenn) Johnson (caregivers) both of Greenwood, South Carolina; Barbara Culp, Rosemary Winston, Pamela Beard and Wanda Culp all of Detroit, Michigan;  three brothers, Carl Culp, Jr., of Detroit, Michigan; Dexter Culp and Darryl Culp both of Pelham, New York.

Allen did not have any children of his own but had two special nephews that he loved as his own, Denzil Patterson and Keyvon Johnson; four devoted nephews, Marvin Johnson, Kevin Johnson, Jeffery Johnson and Keith (Brenda) Scurry; a special niece, Stephanie Jackson all of Greenwood, South Carolina; a special friend, Linda Jackson and a very very special cousin and caregiver, Mattie Bell Davis of Cokesbury, South Carolina.  He is also survived by many other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
