He is preceded in death by his parents, one grandson, Jamel Johnson and three brothers, Curtis Terry, Eugene Gilchrist and James Marshall, Jr.

Albert was a member of Second Damascus Baptist Church. He was formerly employed with Grady Foundry where he retired after several years of service.

Leaving to cherish his memories are two daughters, Kimberly Terry and Laquella Terry both of Greenwood, South Carolina; one son, Derrick (Shantell) Smith of Atlanta, Georgia; four grandchildren; three sisters, Cleo (Beauford) Gilchrist of Greenwood, South Carolina; Vickie (James) Starks and Dorothy "Dot" Brown; three brothers, Kennedy Terry and Robert Robertson all of Greenwood, South Carolina and Willie (Mary) Gilchrist of the Promised Land Community; one sister-in-law, Florence M. Gilchrist of Greenwood, South Carolina along with several nieces, nephews, and friends to mourn his passing.

Public viewing will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at the funeral home.

Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at Second Damascus Baptist Church.

The family is at the home of a brother, Kennedy Terry 134 Independence Way.
